For years, I’ve been trying to find an easy and accessible way to schedule my staff. My goal was always to give staff their schedule on their phone and eliminate all the extra communication around days off, schedule swaps, etc.
There are a ton of apps out there that do what I needed, but they all came with a bunch of extra functions and features that I didn’t need and, in many cases, a subscription that felt way too expensive for the functions we were actually using.
The most recent price bump by the app we were using was the push to develop our own platform, devoid of the unnecessary bloat and recurring fees.
